John Huycke is a distinguished global healthcare and nonprofit executive. His background in the pharma industry includes a quarter century of leadership positions with EMD Serono and Serono International, now a division of global pharma leader and Germany-based Merck KGaA.

His work over the years has included extensive nonprofit involvement doing outreach and community development with Jou Nouvo in Haiti in support of disadvantaged children and families, as well as working with Compassion International sponsoring children in Tanzania, Africa, India, and Peru.  He also serves as Environment Director for Association of Stoney Lake, Canada working to protect wetlands and wildlife.

John is a graduate of the highly respected Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario. He received his MBA from the International Institute for Management Development, IMD, Switzerland, rated by Financial Times as one of the “top three” management programs globally.  He is a member in good standing of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada, CPA Canada. Mr. Huycke is fluent in French and English and has a strong background working in Africa.
