For over four decades Mr. Hartigan has worked successfully to develop projects in Asia, North America, and Central Europe. Since 2002 he has provided a pivotal link for business development between the United States and China, helping bring ocean shipping partnerships with COSCO SHIPPING Lines Co. to American ports. He has helped to influence nonstop airline service from China by Hainan Airlines to Logan Airport in Boston.

He is an advisor to the development of a biotech enterprise park that will open in Massachusetts in December 2018. His input helped the Province of Nova Scotia secure a partnership with Staples Incorporated that led to the opening of the company’s largest and most successful call center operations in that province.

During the 1980s, Mr. Hartigan, a Vietnam Veteran, was an award-winning investigative reporter as well as a correspondent for CBS Radio. His past investigative works have been entered into the Congressional Record as well as being published as a teaching guide in Investigative Reporting by Iowa State University Press.

He is a former Governor’s appointee to the Massachusetts Commission on Asian American Affairs and Massachusetts Senate appointee to the State’s Asian American Commission.
